Registering & Claiming your welcome bonuses
There is a clear “Join Today” button on a banner, and also a link at the top of the page. Initially the registration seems like simple login, just creating a password and a login, but then there is an additional page. Then you are taken straight to card details page however you don’t need to add these immediately. Signing up will earn you a bonus of 20 free spins. To me it wasn’t clear where I could use my “spins” and I had to Google it. The free spins are available on the Starburst slots game. I won 25p in coins but this didn’t actually appear anywhere. The free spins are also available in the Vegas part of the site, rather than the bingo section.
Having used my free spins, I moved on to the bingo section of the website. The interface is quite busy and jumbled, but your balance is displayed clearly at the top. There is quite a strong advertising push to play their “Beat the Boss” game, but aside from this I had no real issues with the design. BGO uses a purple and burgundy colour scheme, and is very classy and professional looking. You’ll recognise their celebrity supporter Verne Troyer, who features in their TV ads.
The game lobby opens in a new tab, rather than a new window, which I personally prefer. There are occasional pop-ups advertising their deposit offer, but otherwise the format is fairly self-contained. There are eight rooms available, with four free rooms, though three of those are depositor only. The caller voice is female with a quite quick delivery. The “Bingo” call itself is quite boring. Alongside the bingo window itself there is a chat window (except in the free rooms). The chat has a purple background with shortcuts for LOL, BRB, GL, etc. I didn’t play when they were running any of their chat games as I was playing quite early in the day. I really liked that the chat host used full sentences even though conversation was mostly via acronyms, and the chat seemed busy and vibrant even that early in the day.
What can you play?
BGO offers several free bingo rooms, including one especially for first-time depositors and one for re-loaders. Their Free Cash Bingo is also open to anyone, all day.
As I mentioned earlier, there are several sections to BGO including Vegas and bingo sections. The bingo section also includes slots, though these aren’t accessible until you’ve deposited. If you do decided to deposit money with BGO you’ll gain a 200% bonus, plus 180 free spins over 9 days (which can be used in some of the slots games in the Vegas section of the site). As you play at BGO you also get “achievements”, though it’s not clear whether these are for anything other than personal glory.
