Registering & Claiming your welcome bonuses

I wasn’t blown away by Bingo Street’s branding, but then I’m a tough cookie to please. I thought that it was a bit hotch-potch with the site name and logo very clearly portraying a street name sign, but then the rest of the homepage looking more like a country field than anything else. Still, you won’t struggle to get to the registration page thanks to a cute little animated bee pointing you in the right direction. Once you are there it’s just a case of registering your details, including name and address. You don’t need to add your payment details as part of the registration process, and there is no waiting for an email confirmation before you can start exploring the site. Unfortunately Bingo Street don’t have a no-deposit welcome bonus available, but they do have several free games you can play to get a feel for the place before deciding if you want to make a deposit.

Refer a friend promotion

Bring a neighbour along to the street and if they deposit and play you’ll bag £15 free (15,000 joy points). Not only that, but the top 4 referrers per month share an additional £40 bonus!

On registering you are redirected to your account page, which is named “My House” and shows that they are trying to stick a little further to the theme. From here you can access the cashier interface, check your balances (both real and bonus) and monitor your transactions. There is also a nice big “Play Now” button in red, which opens the game lobby in a new pop-out window. The colour scheme is similar here to the main page, and they do a lot better of following their street theme here, as rather than games being organised by tab, they are organised as if you are on a street. I loved the clever addition of a bank to the scene, which shows your player ID and balance.

The games available at Bingo Street include Instants, Free Bingo and several special games, alongside a range of 90-ball classic games and 75-ball American style bingo. I found it difficult to keep track of actually how many of each game there are available, as there doesn’t necessarily seem to be an order to how the games are organised between tabs. For example, the “Penny Stretcher” tab is supposed to be all free games, yet when I was logged in The Local was playing a 4p game, and I didn’t see this drop while I was there. Also, though I like the street theme, the art looks as if it’s been drawn on ms paint and the huge variety of signs can get a little confusing after a while.

Once you are in the game itself the caller is energetic, using a full range of fun bingo calls, which compliments the overall atmosphere. The ticket selector is on the left of the window, with the chat interface on the right. If you pick a room with a chat host present, they are mostly lively and there is always a level of conversation in the chat room, though sometimes real “chat” is lacking and is replaced by either chat games or people simply calling out how many balls they need, which doesn’t make for a very interesting conversation.

What can you play?

Free play

There is plenty of free bingo on Bingo Street, just pop over to the Penny Stretchers tab to play one of two completely free games – just fund your account to play!

Any Extras?

There are several free games at Bingo Street, though when I was online they were all exclusive to funded players. Though some other games were listed as opening soon I couldn’t find any details on these to see if I’d be able to play. When I looked on the main site, it suggested that the Free 4 All room should be open to non-funded players, but that was contradicted in the game lobby itself. Alongside the bingo there are also a variety of slots and instants available at Bingo Street, though these are also exclusive to funded players. If you do choose to deposit with Bingo Street they offer a welcome bonus of 200% on your first deposit, with up to an extra £5 thrown in completely free with their Shake the Signpost game!
