Buttercup Bingo Review
Buttercup’s cheerful face arrived on the scene back in 2014 and she’s been brightening up many a bingo players day since then (I assume it’s a her – I’m not an expert in cows!). Part of the popular Live Bingo Network and running on the Cozy Games software you can be sure you’re in experienced hands.

The homepage has a large “Join Now” button as part of the header (between the logo and the sign-in box) which is easy to spot. Clicking through takes you to a login form with three sections – login details, personal details and then verification details. These are all simple to fill out, and the entire registration process only takes a few minutes. Signing up with Buttercup Bingo will gain you a £15 welcome bonus but as it is part of the Live Bingo Network it is worth bearing in mind that if you have played on another LBN site you may not be able to sign up here as well. Your existing LBN details should work to give you access, but you won’t be credited with any additional funds.
The site is based around a countryside theme, with Buttercup the cow looking on from the logo. The bright and friendly colour scheme makes the site very enjoyable. The interface itself mirrors many of the LBN sites, with the standard bingo lobby opening in-site, and themed to match with the general colour scheme. Any regular LBN player will immediately recognise the rooms available as this does not change from one site to another.
There are eight 90-ball games available here, five 80-ball, and one each of 75-ball and 30-ball, giving a wide range of play options to visitors. Two of the games are free, though one is reserved for funded players only. The games open in a new pop-out window, and have a bright blue background. The ticket pane takes up most of the window, with a smaller chat interface on the right-hand side. In many rooms buying 5 tickets will gain you an extra two for free, and sometimes offers are even more generous than that with buy-one-get-one-free deals. The caller voice is not very well recorded unfortunately, but does use a number of fun calls.
The chat across the LBN is a standout, possibly because of the high numbers of players often present. The chat hosts are engaging and it is nice to see them remembering regular players and holding genuine conversations. There are also regular chat games across the network, and the various sites provide full guidance as to how each game works (though you can just check with the chat host of your room, who is usually very knowledgeable).
Alongside the bingo games available at Buttercup Bingo there are a range of slots and instant games, all of which can be played with either bonus cash or real money, which is a nice addition as it means you can try out any game before you deposit cash at the site. If you do chose to deposit there is a welcome bonus available of 900% over the first three deposits.
